Halloween at Yaquina Head

In keeping with a 19th century Halloween tradition, the lighthouse keepers at the Interpretive Center will dress in their wives’ clothing and the wives will dress in the lighthouse keepers’ uniforms. Children who tell a joke, funny story, or perform a song or magic trick for the rangers at the Interpretive Center will receive a treat. Rangers will provide jokes and tricks to youths who need one. The Interpretive Center will be open for trick-or-treating from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The Yaquina Head Lighthouse will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The park gate is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Even spookier: Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area will waive admission fees on Halloween!!
