Newport Clambake & Seafood BBQ

The 8th Annual Newport Clambake and Seafood BBQ again comes to Newport on July 3, with food and fun on the beach, all with a historical theme that recalls the days when Nye Beach was actually a separate village from Newport, connected only by a muddy, ruddy set of wooden planks.
The Newport Clambake and Seafood BBQ goes from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m. at the Nye Beach Turnaround. Starting this pet-friendly event, a pet parade will begin at the Performing Arts Center at 9:30 a.m., ending at the turnaround at 9:45 a.m. A free shuttle to the event will be available at the courthouse, on Olive St., one block from Highway 101.
