Octopus Day At Hatfield Marine Science Center

Saturday, November 13, 2010 is Octopus Day at the Hatfield Marine Science Visitor Center.  Be one of the first to see our newest giant Pacific octopus!  The day’s events include coloring and craft activities as well as a dissected octopus on display with its internal anatomy identified.  Join us at 1:00 as we feed our new octopus and reveal its name.  If you would like to help name our octopus, come to the Center before November 13th to submit your entry.  A prize will be awarded to the person who suggested the winning name!
Our winter hours are Thursday through Monday, 10: to 4:. Admission is by donation.
