The courses of the Central coast area require strategy as well as skill. Our courses give the average player a fair chance and at the same time require the utmost from the expert who tries for sub-par rounds.

There are two 18-hole golf courses on the central coast: Chinook Winds Golf Resort in Lincoln City and Salishan Spa & Golf Resort newly renovated by Jacobson-Hardy Golf Course Design.

Golfers who prefer a shorter and faster-paced game will enjoy three additional 9-hole courses within the county: Agate Beach in Newport, Olalla Valley in Toledo and Crestview Golf Club in Waldport.

Agate Beach, Crestview Hills and Salishan all offer driving ranges and PGA instructors most days and will give special classes, schools and private lessons.
